💡 Today You Should Know

Learn something new every Friday. Join 1,400+ nerds and satisfy your curiosity one question at a time with topics including science, technology, history, and more.

What is Today You Should Know?

Today You Should Know is a free, weekly newsletter designed to satisfy your curiosity about something you’ve always wondered about. The mission of the project is to inspire curiosity and learning for learning’s sake.

Every Friday, I ask and answer one question about how the world works. It won’t be the most comprehensive explanation out there, but it’ll be enough to appease your interest or else inspire you to dig deeper on your own.

As part of the mission of inspiring curiosity and learning, all affiliate revenue driven by book recommendations on this site and the newsletter is donated to Room to Read, a leading nonprofit for children's literacy and girls' education across Asia and Africa.

Who is the nerd behind Today You Should Know?

Caitlin

That would be me, Caitlin! I’m a
professional emailer and amateur nerd.

I started Today You Should Know because I wanted an excuse to Google all the questions that have popped into my head. I’ve continued the newsletter to keep expanding my own knowledge (and hopefully my readers’ knowledge!).
